- it isnt shown till later in the video, but it appealed to the people passing and they started giving more.
- the video made me sad because in the beginning basically no one was helping out, and it made me sadder to see what the woman wrote on the other side of the sign because she used words to appeal to peoples emotions. it made me feel a little better when more and more people helped out.
- to show us the power simple words can make when their arranged to mean more.
- we could use more words that appeal to the readers in what ever tone were trying to create in our stories.
- they covered the story as first it being a situation where the wolf had done nothing, to it was self defense in the pigs view, to it wasn't possible for the wolf to blow it down, to insurance conspiracy placing the pigs at fault.
- yes and no, the same plot events occurred but more viewpoints were exposed causing a deeper study into the event which resolved in the impossibility of the wolf being able to blow the house down and what the pigs actually did.
- the pigs and the people by what they thought.
- no, all bases were covered.
- the guardian showed little opinion, they just stated facts, it was the readers who formed opinions.
- yes
- by keeping stories unbiased and allowing the reader to form their own opinions by us just stating the facts.
- by keeping my stories unbiased yet intriguing
- deadlines are important and if just a couple people cant pull through the whole team suffers.
- newspaper is too stressful to me, and i feel as if im not in a safe environment to voice my true opinions
- i have no ideas of how it can be improved, its a good structure, it just isnt the class for me.

first day newspaper scavenger hunt
1.) With the start of the school year, changes have been made through out the campus. From little things like signs near the office with directions to the different halls and rooms to digital clocks in the hallways instead of the old, traditional ones. There was also a sitting area built near the student parking lot for officers checking for off campus ID. Tables were added inside the academic hall in the Bowie colors.
2.) Many returning students had different opinions on the school year than the perspective the freshman had. "It was confusing" sophomore Jet Hyde stated. Other sophomore Hajer Deyaf had the same thoughts, but she described it as "being somewhere that felt familiar but completely new at the same time".
3.) This year the bell schedule is the biggest change. Due to a student sharing program that AISD started, the bell schedules for the high schools that are participating in this. However, Bowie doesn't have anyone coming in because of limited space, we are still using this alternate schedule that shortens passing periods and start and finish 10 minutes later.
4.) GSA had their first meeting on the first day of school, football is practicing and have already played games. Color guard and band have started practicing too, so has silver stars and cheer. Theatre has already picked fall shows and their musical
6.) Changes To the JBHS Campus?
Welcome Back Bowie
First Impressions
